Mini Bookcase and Books

Hello everyone.

Sharing a new project for Lisa Horton Crafts using Mini Bookcase and Books. Lisa is on Create and craft TV Thursday 7th of May 8-15 am and 3-00 pm with new products and also you can see more gorgeous samples from Design Team. This mini bookcase is so adorable and it was fun to make. And this is my first time making little books. Hope you like it.

For the Mini Bookcase and books.

Lisa Horton Crafts Mini Bookcase and books set,
Mdf accessories,
Texture A6 Stamp set,
White mermaid glitter,
Gold metallic paint,
Some pattern papers,
Cream papers used for inside of the books.
Distress tools,
Masking tape.

I put the bookcase together with some tacky glue. Measured the panels from inside, sides, the top, the back and the front of the bookcase for the papers. Cut the panels and then I used the gold paint with the sponge to add to the stamp script and splatters and stamped to the papers. Distressed the edges of papers and glued to the bookcase.

For the books I watched a tutorial by Design Team member Paul Ford how to make the books, you can watch here Youtube

I decorated the front and sides of books with some flowers and flourishes by painting them with gold paint. For quicker painting I used little sponge to paint the embellishments and also I added paint to the books and bookcase.

For inside of the books I used some matching colours papers. Stamped some images on cream papers in different colours.

Here is the back of the bookcase.
