Teenagers cards

Hello everyone.

Sharing some teenager cards which one of them I made for my youngest son who loves drums. And the other card is for his friend birthday who plays base guitar. My son told me that this is not base guitar, it should have four strings not six LOL! Well I will know now about base guitar strings, I just should to cut off some strings. His friend loved the card anyway.

For this card I used 7x7 card blank,

Stamps from Creative stamping magazine, stamped and heat embossed with clear embossing powder, coloured with Copic markers.

Crafts too embossing folder,

Find it Amy design music border,

Xcut alphabet dies,

First edition number dies,

Tattered lace frame dies,

Papermilldirect card

And for another card

I used Cosmic shimmer pixie powders for guitar Frantic stamper dies and Sue Wilson flag dies,

Creative expressions sentiment stamped and heat embossed with WOW platinum powder,

Sequences stars.

Butterflies cards

Hello everyone.

Sharing two butterflies cards. I used one background die for these cards.

For the cards I used

A6 card blank made with plain white card from Papermilldirect,

Cosmic shimmer pixie powders added to white card and I used Tonic background die to cut,
 I used Creative expressions stitched rectangles frame dies to make a frame. I added the frame with sticky foam strip for dimensions to the detailed background edge and glued to the edge of the card.

Creative expressions sentiment stamps stamped with black ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

  Tonic butterfly stamp and die set. I used aqua colour chalky ink to stamp the butterflies and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I added Distress oxide inks to butterflies.

 Crafters companion butterflies dies used on other card.

Love the shine of pixie powders.

Birthday cards with pixie powders background

 Hello everyone.

Sharing some birthday cards. I used mixture of pixie powders for the backgrounds. It was a bit messy but I enjoyed making these coloured backgrounds. So I end up making several cards with butterfly stamp set from Creative expressions.

Teal wash and Sun yellow used for these two cards.

For the cards I used 

Cosmic shimmer pixie powders used on watercolored card,

Creative expressions stamp set embossed with silver embossing powder and coloured the butterflies and sentiment with pixie powders,

Sue Wilson Noble collection frame dies, Scandinavian collection dies, Austrian collection dies, Double stitched rectangles dies, butterfly dies,

Papermilldirect card,

Gems, I coloured some gems to match the colours with Copic markers.

Aubergine dream and Burnt orange used for these cards.

Midnight blue and Sun yellow used for these cards.

Cosmic Shimmer pixie powders on watercoloured card.

Sorry for not being around on the blog lately, been busy packing and preparing to move to our new home. I have made some cards and will try to upload them soon.

Star shaker card

Hello everyone.

Sharing a shaker card. I planned to make this card for a teacher and end up making a Christmas card. I thought the colours was wrong and it took me a while to finish this card. So I left it for a bit (the same with some others unfinished cards lol!) So I decided to finish this card by adding some black colour to the star border, sentiment and to the edge of the frame.

6x6 card

I used pixie powders on watercoloured card for the background and cut the star with Xcut dies, I used two star dies to cut the frame which measures 7mm and cut the acetate star and glued to the frame star then I added the foam pads to the edge of the frame for the shaker, I cut a thinner star frame 3mm in silver glitter card by Hunkydory and added to the star frame. Star border Taylored expressions cut twice in black and silver, I added black and silver stripe to one edge of coloured background. Sentiment die cut twice in black and silver card. Some coloured sequences from Range. Pearlescent card.

Merry Christmas cards

Birthday boy

Hello everyone.

Here is a birthday card I made for my youngest son who loves Marvel movies. So I came up with a Guardians of the galaxy theme card. I have the cassette stamp set from Hunkydory For the love of stamps which is ideal for this card.  For the cassette I added some red stripes with promarker and I wrote a sentiment on the cassette with black pen.The background were made with some Pixie powders on black card. My son loves this card.

For 5x7 card

For the love of stamps Hunkydory stamp,

Xcut alphabet dies and stamps,

I embossed partly the sentiment with gold embossing powder and added white pen around the letters for dimensions, and for other letters "SON" I used dies.

Tattered lace pin dot die frames,

Papermilldirect card,

Embossing powder gold and clear, black and white pen,

Promarkers.

And here is a cake I made for my son with little Groot character from Guardians of galaxy.

10th Birthday BB8

Hello everyone.

Just sharing a BB8 card for 10th birthday which I made couple month ago. This card I made for my son's friend who loves star wars. I added pixie powders with water to the stamp for the background and I added some splatter to the stamped background with some coloured pixie powders. It was a bit messy. 

I really enjoyed making this card. Hope you like it.

  Hello everyone.

  Just sharing a thank you card which I made for my son's teacher. I played with my new cosmic shimmer pixie powders from creative expressions. I cut a rectangle with pin dots frame tattered lace and added some distressed inks to make a rainbow effect. Then I sprinkled some white pearl pixie powder mixed with water to the rainbow background. I added some coloured pixie powders mixed with water and sprinkled to the black card, then I cut the star border and letters.

It was a bit messy but I enjoyed playing with pixie powders.
